yah, I can google but it’s far too much to read.
how does SSL work? like if I’m downloading from IPTorrents with SSL enabled or even a debrid account like all debrid, how does SSL work?

Answer #1
to put it simple, SSL encrypts the data sent between you and the server. Like for login forms, it encrypts the login data when you’re logging in on the site.
Answer #2
I wouldnt worry about it unless you’ve recieved a letter from your ISP about downloading (like some people).
You’re more likely to get ‘caught’ downloading from torrents than from file hosts (like rapidgator/uploaded) (or so ive heard)
Ive thought about using SSL on All-Debrid (not sure if it uses it automatically) but thought there’s some configuring or whatever needed to be done and it could get more complicated, so ive left it as it is.
Answer #3
forget that for protecting more than your login info.. your ISP can see what you are doing, and whoever you connect to can see your IP address. that is good for man in the middle attacks, unless they get the handshake key at the start of the connection, that is.. only a Proxy or VPN or similar like tor etc. that gives THEIR IP address as the sender, and relays the contents to you is safe to protect yourself.
