Taking a video from dvd and putting it on a computer.

January 25th, 2020

I have a question. In my video production class I made mini music documentary for my final project. We use macs at school a I used Final Cut Pro to edit it. I have a copy of the documentary on disc.
At home I have a PC. Is there a way for me to take the video off the dvd disc a put it on my PC? I want to be able to put the video on a myspace page or a webpage for a video production business my husba a I are starting.
I would appreciate any help with this.

A simple, quick one?
EDIT: Fi/use a CD/DVD ripper, then export the video, convert it to whatever format

well i dont suggest you use a cd/dvd ripper, i suggest you insert your dvd/cd, if it autoplays then cancel, go to my computer then on the drive your dvd is inserted, explore the disc, then copy a paste the video_ts folder. which later on if you wish you can instantly burn again using any burning software.
then if you want to convert just use any of the convertors arou, theyre all pretty good so its just down to preference.
reason i use the explore a copy/paste mode is because you have less chance of getting an error when ripping the disc. i do alot of dvd trading a have always done it this way.

That would be good…you can use it to make another dvd out of it or put the dvd files on your hard drive….also you can select just the video you want a convert it to a type of file you want using the DVD to Mobile options..
