Putting .mkv video files onto a disk

August 5th, 2016

Hello,
Whenever I have a film on the computer which is .mkv or even sometimes .avi. The quality suddenly drops dramatically when put onto a disk and it makes it unwatchable because it’s out of sync, etc. Can anyone recommend a very good burning program which will help to avoid this and making the film suddenly turn into a very bad copy?
It’s driving me somewhat insane.
Thank you.

Answer #1
You want to play the films on your dvd player or just another pc?
Answer #2
Are you using Nero? If, not, burn the movies with Nero!
Answer #3
I want to burn them onto a disk to be able to play on a dvd player. The problem is that when I do this (mostly with .mkv films) the quality is greatly reduced. I believe it’s because I had to convert the film from .mkv to .avi to be able to burn it onto a disk. I think it told me I needed to do this with Nero and other burning software. Is there no burning software which supports .mkv films to burn onto a disk? If there isn’t – then does anyone know any reasonable coverting software which won’t greatly reduce the quality of the film?
Thank you.
