Help putting movie from computer onto DVD

August 4th, 2016

When i try to move the Audio_TS and Video_TS files to a blank DVD, I get an error saying windows can’t do this.
Why is this? My computer has a DVD RW drive and that’s what the blank DVD’s i have are.
Can anyone help?

Answer #1
use clonedvd2,anydvd to burn the file before you do that make sure it plays on media player or divx to make sure its not corrupt.
the best are dvd-r.

I’ve always used WinAvi to convert .avi to Audio_TS and Video_TS files. Then would build an ISO image with those two folders in imgBurn, then burn that ISO. Works flawlessly every time…
Answer #4
did you try it my way….hmmm
you didn’t try to just copy the files from a dvd without decrypting them first did you.LOL
Answer #5
Try burning the output using Nero. Please report back here and tell us if you managed to burn it with it (Nero) or not. Good luck mate ^_^
Answer #6
All i’ve done is download a film off here and i’m trying to put it on a disc.
Looked at your tutorial and tried to follow it but got that error.
I’ll try some of the things you suggested.
Answer #7
What DVD’s are you using?
Check the size of the conversion folder and make sure it will fit on the DVD.

TDK DVD+RW 4.7GB, 1-4X SPEED
Movie itself is 4.09GB so is small enough to fit on
Going to try clone dvd 4
EDIT: Set it up and went AFK. Come back now and the disc was ejected but nothing is on the disc so it hasn’t worked.
Answer #9
Try a DVD(+-)R instead of a DVD RW …………… RW’s have a different format than (+-)R.

Answer #10
Just burn the complete VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders(including the folders themselves) to a blank DVD using Nero (burn data to disk) …….or you could use any other reputable burning programme …

I already posted this but here it is again:

Note: Use blank DVD-R to burn not DVD-RW.

Thanks for the pics. Got this error though:

Is this likely to be the DVD-RW’s fault or my computer/dvd drive itself?
Answer #13
Try testing it. Try burning something using it and see if it works fine. If it doesn’t then yes, it might be a problem with your DVD drive. Try updating it’s firmware or the drivers for your system. Also, you might want to try testing it on another computer and seeing if it works fine. Good luck mate ^_^

I can burn CD’s no problem. Drivers are all updated. Must be the disks, i’ll look to buy some DVD-R’s soon.

I wondered that, is it because it’s from a DVD rip?
Seemed strange to me too.
