I bought an LCD TV a day ago, a SHARP 26″ LC-26SH20U, and I can’t seem to see the video/picture for my 360 on it. I have a premium Xbox 360 which came with component HD/AV cables, and when I plug the cables into the component (ypbpr….i think :S, also input 3) with my 3 cables Red, Blue, Green, for video, and the other 2, Red and White, for audio. I can only hear the music/audio, and cannot see the picture. I have switched cables around from time to time, and finally got the right ones I’m guessing, since I checked them on Microsoft. But guess what, it doesn’t work and am dying to play. Could anyone please help me?

I know this sounds obvious but my brother had this problem, and it was one of two things:
The switch on the cable plugging into the xbox (at the xbox end) between standard and hdtv,
or
The setting on the TV for the input – ie it should have been on component and was on HD1 or similar.

Or you have a bust TV, take it back and try and new one

No, thanks for trying. I got it fixed myself actually, it just took another few couple of minutes and more wires to unplug and switch. I had too much plugs in one TV I guess
Thanks again guys
