Skype Shortcut?

Hi all,i am often using skype for calls and i also often need to mute mic when someone get into my room so i was wondering what is a shortcut for that if there is any at all?

the space bar mutes the call…when the window with the call is selected

Pull the mic plug, or get a headset with an in-line on/off switch.
(At least that is the only way I’ve found to do it.)
