RS account got locked, got this message.. why?

Fraud detected, Account XXXXXXX: This Account has been locked by our Abuse-Team. Now I had that account lock thing on (The green lock) and used my account on 3 PCs at home, is that the problem?

Did you upload anything Illegal? Child Pornography, for example? I am not blaming you for uploading such stuff, but things like that go against Rapidshare’s TOS.

It only locks it if 3 ISP are connected at once
Sharing it over 3 PC’s over 1 connection would not effect it.
You probably got phished, contact RS.

the account was being used by several ip address. if its your account, you were probably phished. if you bought the account from somewhere else other than from rapidshare, you were sold a phished account.
or
you could be sharing your account with other people. other than that… using the account from 3 of your home computer shouldn’t be the reason why it was locked.

*sigh* no… more than likely it was a phished account or got phished. they usually give you several warnings before they actually determine an account to be fraud. just admit, you’re using a phished account.

Well , two of my rapidshare accounts detected fraud too , i never share with any users , i just use it to remote upload from rs to mu , yeah i turned the security lock on.
then , i deactivated the security lock , funny now they don’t block my account anymore.

You need to contact Rapidshare. I’m very sure that they won’t lock your account for downloading. Someone might have hacked too. If then, Rapidshare will get your account back to you for sure.

Are you sure you have not uploaded anything? Also, do you receive the “Fraud detected, Account XXXXXXX: This Account has been locked by our Abuse-Team” message when you attempt to log into your account? This message means (as far as I know) that the account has been closed because of fraudulent RapidPoints generation.

Well you’re right
they wrote me back and said that the account used to generate points to buy the account I bought had been stolen. So in other words the ebay seller had stolen the account with RS points, made an account and sold it to me
