Remove every trace of a program

August 1st, 2016

Hi,
I downloaded Adobe CS6 and installed all the programs Dreamweaver / Photoshop etc. After using for a day or say I decided I like it so much that I would buy the real full version from Adobe and also have access to there Cloud. So I uninstalled and delete all the software ( from a mac ) I went and purchased the membership and now when I go to install the products it tell me there are up to date.. So it thinks they are already installed.. But I’ve removed them all ! So how can i fix this ? how can i totally remove the already downloaded / installed software so i can start from new with the real Adobe products ? I’m on a Mac with the latest operating system.
thanks.

You can try:

It’s free so worth a try.

Search your registry for all Adobe entries and delete them all. Also, check your hosts file and delete Adobe any entries there.

It’s a MAC not windows so “registry” and “hosts” are n/a.

I *think* adobe makes a tool for your problem. It’s a total uninstall tool for those who had … *?questionable?* … software and now wish to go… “unquestionable” shall we say. If going legit, call them and ask for help on the issue. You already have legit software so they can’t say much regardless now.

I guess you could go through the .plist files in the Library->Preferences folders.
Does Your Uninstaller! have Mac support? That application is the shiznit.
