i just keep gettin Network Error(tcp-error)

Is there away round it for BT users?
It’s crap. It was fine last month but in the last 2 weeks it’s been woeful

Not at the moment, BT have slightly investigated customer issues by answering the helpline phone more often to angered RS users.
It’s a problem with resources; these resource is the data that we download and the download parameter it’s based in, like your download speed, the connection rate and connectivity.
Connectivity is relatively bad on BT at the moment, and the reason is probably due to the overloading of customers it’s found from releasing it’s Virgin competitor package, Option 3. Not just this, BT have also released their Broadband TV package which is based on the same Opengroup network.
Also, the DNS at RapidShare isn’t set right, and those that are using BT cannot connect through to the appropriate location on RS’s incoming server which is causing problems unless you use the methods posted in my FAQ & Help topic..

Hope this helps
I’m using a proxy server in my university _ Galway Ireland- and it keeps cutting my connections after 5/6 minutes. Then I get a http 104 – connection reset by peer- error. If I leave it a while it works again but only for 2 seconds
whats BT users,
and ya I faced terrible RS down time yesterday, for the first time ever
BT = British Telecoms – A Broadband provider in the UK and Ireland.
That Rapidshare downtime must have been my problem as well – : Were you getting a 104 error when you typed http://www.~ Dead file host ~
into your browser?
Down Again – Why are we paying for this?
Please, use the EDIT button instead of double posting!

reported
but rs is working 100% for me
It seems to come and go for me, This happens both in the University – behind a proxy and at home (NTL – Galway) – I think there’s a problem with a European server. I reported as well but RS claimed that the fault was at my end. Maybe this is true but its just a bit weird that I can download early in the morning but not later on.

but there is also no reason for you to be talking
Then i guess we’re even
Rapidshare is playing up again!!!!
BUT, I’ve got round it by using an “Anonymous” US proxy.
It works fine that way.
