Playing muliplayer on cracked/pirated games

Hi, I dunno if this is a problem that only I am getting or if many people are getting this so i thought i would ask about it When i click on multiplayer on Assassin’s creed 4 and COD ghosts the game automatically closes and steam opens. Why does this happen? Im quite new to pirated pc games any help would be greatly appreciated

Most pirated games are single player only..
You want to play multiplayer You need to buy the game..
