New PC Build need some advice in partitiong OS

Ok to start with this is going to be my hard drive set up.
500gb 7200rpm 500gb 7200rpm
500gb 7200rpm This is for general storage
32gb raptor 10,000rpm
this is for the OS
I will also need to throw all my data from my old hard drives on these because of music films etc this is ok as i am getting a usb to ide connection I will just copy the data across once everything else is installed.
I would like to run 2 OS on the raptor so I can select which OS i want to go into once I turn on the computer how do I install two OS onto the hard drive without installing over the top of the other. The operating system I want are.
Windows XP HE.
Windows Vista ultimate.
So how can I install two partitions onto one hard drive without wiping over the other one? please somebody tell me or does anybody have any advice. Thanks in advance Mouse�

partition magic will let you setup 2 partitions without wiping the original out

kk cool so just install windows xp first install partition magic create new partition and then install operatinh system on it. does it let you install an OS within that program if you no what I mean and also will that give me the option to select which partition I want to use when I turn my comp on

to my knowledge it doesnt give you the option to install an os in PM … you may want to google dual boot vista and xp …. this may shed some light on yer situation http://www.windowstalk.org/dual_boot_vista.htm
