My internet download speed reduced to HALF!

Help, i already changed of usb and now, i dont know what is happening

in the begining it has it alwais has it normal spped, but after that is reducing more and more

Try scanning with Spyware Doctor….it is very good.
Ive used it quite a few times…it this doesn’t work i would contact your ISP and ask them if they have anything to do with it.

i have cable, fibre optic internet (virgin media) and i am never supposed to get reduced speeds. i start 9 rs files and after the first 3 it drops by half. then some times it goes back up to my payed speed of 500kbps. could this be the rapidshare servers like cogent, telia Etc?
i am not sure whether to contact isp because of what i am dwnloading (games movies ETC)

if your on virgini media they cap ur internet after you have downloaded a certain amount

Does that include BT Option 3? Because I am experiencing fairly slow speeds at the moment.
Maybe is that cause i was seeing my bandwith and i did 40Gb’s

EDIT: i tried to download some files trough uTorrent and it worked (i get my normal speed) so what a hell is this?
i tried to download trought rapidshare (firefox) and only 1/4 of my speed
andd i tried trough internet explorer but only 1/3, im desesperate.
but if i download 4 files at the same time has the normal speed (1/4), if i download
normaly i get only 1/4 of my download even if its just 1 file HELP
well mate, i can recommend you a program that may help your life, it is called internet download accelerator and it does work, my speed is 290kbps normally on rapidshare i get 600kbps using that
try it out just search for it

The pipe for cable is much greater than what your neighbors typically throw at it. I believe you are talking about DSL where, yes your neighbors being on will affect your connection.
I got 4 computers online on one cable…wireless router in my house. I can flashget at a constant 800kb/s on all of them at the same time.
800 kb/s when only one is downloading 800 kb/s when all of them are downloading.
