mic problem
August 5th, 2016
i got a logitech mic
Go into volume control in taskbar and go into mic settings and change the volume.
my settings are already up all the way
Is the mic for close use or is it meant to be placed on the desk?
its a headset
And its not something simple like the cable is not all the way in?
cable is in all the way
What program are you using to record the audio? Or if you aren’t recording it how do you know it is soft. Details will help.
i know because i go on ventrilo and my friends say that they can barley hear me
also my outbound volume is up all the way
Open up sound recorder and test out the mic yourself, otherwise the problem might be their speakers or something.
Start-Programs-Accessories-Entertainment if you are in XP
Orb thing- All programs-Accessories in Vista
its not loud
i am using vista so i cant give you specific instructions, but in the sound control windows for xp, there is an option under on of the menus to show more controls. Once you pick that there will be like 20 different options, one of which controls the microphone volume. It may be under preferences or settings, but i am not sure. Hope this helps.
i got all of them turned up
And you are sure its not you mics problem?
it works on another computer
have you tried using the mic on another user account on the pc
If it can’t be fixed by a new one
