Mass Effect 2 crash

Hi guys, recently downloaded a copy of Mass Effect 2. I played through the fire mission with absolutely no worries, but as soon as I was sent to the colony, the game kept crashing to a black screen after a few minutes playtime.
I’ve reinstalled directx and updating, I’ve turned all the settings to minimum with an extremely low resolution but it still keeps crashing?
Anyone else experiencing the same problem or have a fix?
Running W7 x64 on Phenom 9950 (2.6ghz) and an ATI Radeon 4850 (512MB) so I meet the requirements…

try downloading a different crack, if there is one.

Thx for your help, but I cant find another crack other than Razors which I already have

May not be a problem with the crack but the game itself. Big releases like this usually need an update to be released within the first few weeks.

Thanks for the help stewart but it hasnt worked, I will wait for that patch if it ever comes
