make pen drive detected as a dvd drive

is there any way to make ur pen drive be detected as a dvd drive by changing d firmware or something of d pen drive?

i was just thinking if we could put a ps3 game on pen drive and den make it detect by ps3 as a blue ray dvd and den play d games

Pen drives can be bigger proz . Mines a nice 32gb I know people with larger rofl

you should have wrote is it possible to play backups off usb on ps3, on the ps2 it is possible but you need a dvd to load the roms from the usb device, i have it its called usbxtreme for the ps2, or hdadvance, but there is none so far for the ps3.
(and no you cant use usbextreme on ps3….. i tried it says uncompatible hardware).
