Hello dear forum, I tried using tech, smac cant seem to change my mac address, I even tried to go to the device manager and properties of the wifi card adapter, but didn’t show networkaddress slot to edit it. I am running windows 8 laptop. I do however have a vpn called privateinternetaccess and am able to change the mac address on that, and connect to one of the ip’s and when I check through smac my vpn mac address is changed, now is that enough to cover me or will they be able to identify my laptop’s real mac address since I am unable to change it? I am using it for amazon and I know they track by mac address.

can’t tell much about ur issue here, but i know this soft that allow u to change mac address. if ur pc is online, it shows the connection name in a selection box.

but i have doubts that u could change ur mac address of a wireless modem.
