Laptop touchpad problems

Hi my laptop is 1 year old, and if you divide it into 3 parts, only the centre third part seems to be working now. However the whole touchpad works if I click and drag with one of the buttons.
Ive checked the driver it is up to date so what could this be?

Dont know why lappies dont come with wifi mouse lol

only the centre third part seems to be working now.
is there a way to set the “scroll area width” in the CP/drivers for the pad
you try uninstalling the driver, reboot and let windows reinstall the driver
