(KB971033) update on Windows 7?

I just downloaded the copy of windows 7 from warezbb and installed all the updates. But this one (KB971033) on other forums ppl are saying not to download because it makes windows not genuine.
In that case what should i do?
Should i disable it or download it and then use the Daz Windows loader?
Is it important to download this update to get other updates?

Disable it permanently.

I think you need it to prove Windows is genuine and also for SP1..(Maybe)..
Anyhow it will cause no problems with the Windows loader by Daz..

Just install it… Don’t worry about anything…
There is WAT Fix and Window Loader by DAZ….
I have all updates up to date and no problems so far…

This is the best option – I am up to date on all Win 7 updates using Daz’s loader no issues

That was an update that caused problems on the older Windows activators. If you use Windows Loader by DAZ, you don’t have to worry about anything.

KB971033 is windows activision technologies which checks the validity of your windows. Better not install it.
