i can tell you that starting with version 2.0 , malwarebytes has ended lifetime licenses and adopted yearly model. currently you can not buy lifetime license from their site.
if that guy has saved a license which is bought a few years ago then it may be legit but i do not know if there is any criteria for it works on new versions or if it is a due date.
Answer #2
From my experience with similar purchases, I’d say it’s legitimate. Malwarebytes Pro isn’t worth it though imho.

those keys are tied into an “ID” and a “Key” which is 4 sets of 4 numbers/letters
Wonder why he is giving up on a lifetime key? I have one lifetime key installed on 3 systems here.
Answer #6
No, it’s a scam.
Answer #7
why buy something that you can get for free, if you try.
OK, if you want to do so, go for it, but the app isnot worth it if you ask me..

Spybot – Search & Destroy is a much better app to use and FREE.

AdwCleaner is also a good FREE app to use.

How do they get hold of a lifetime key in the first place…..One that can be resold at a profit ?
Any one know the story there..
Do they get them discounted from the software company?
I think it happens with Windows too.
Answer #10
before version 2.0(version with new UI) , all licenses were sold as lifetime and they werent converted to anything else after the adoption of yearly model. if you have a retail box of any windows not OEM , you can sell it for profit too . unlike oem it doesnt register itself to motherboard by online activation. same goes for malwarebytes if you uninstall it and sell your lifetime license to another one , when that person installs ; it would be just like a new pc or a formatted pc you are using so license will stay valid. i do not know if malwarebytes has mechanism to check number of installs with a specific lifetime key . if it has not , then you can install it on swarm of pcs.
currently there is no official chan is selling lifetime license of malwarebytes but previously sold ones are still valid. however if it does not activated after being bought , it may have a due date which may have been expired. you probably need to contact their support to learn the history behind.
