Can’t activate malwarebytes..

Guys, please can somebody help me with to activate malwarebytes? I tried everything and followed the instructions like i should(turn off internet, change hosts etc etc.. ) but still i can’t activate it and get the free home version!

There is also a pre activated version in that link from .
You might need to thoroughly uninstall the previous version first.
Revo uninstaller is quite good for that.

I just changed to the posting by Mr.Mario. This is a fairly simple procedure. I do a copy/paste of 2 lines into the Host file. On 1 PC, the copy/paste just took place. On another PC, I had to change permissions to allow the change. I did this before the install. I just add to the next open line and I start entry into the 2nd column.
Following the install, I do a copy of the license.conf file. I then go to the Install folder and renamed the original license.conf file to licenseXXX.conf. I do this just to confirm that the correct file gets substituted. I then go to the Install folder and do the Paste. I then confirm that both files are together, 1 file active, 1 file inactive. I have used this on 3 PCs and they all remain on Premium and activated.
