How to remove DRM from latest BBC iPlayer downloads
January 23rd, 2020
As far as I’m aware, the only way to remove the DRM is through playing the file and capturing the video.
That is all the ‘programs’ do – they just play the video (you don’t see it) and capture the output to a new file and save that capture.
So takes forever.
Apparently, and I haven’t tried it, Internet Download Manager can download the FLV stream when the video is playing in a web browser – but this doesn’t help with those videos you already have archived.

Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate can not break the BBC DRM any more. More by the new laws, none of our product can remove the DRM. the only solution is recording in Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate:
1. Refer the top right of the software and Click the Menu>Video Recorder to activate Video Recorder function
2. Play the video you want to record, an REC button will show on the left- top corner of the playing window.
3. Click the REC button, the product will record the video automatically. Click Pause button to stop the recording, the recorded file will be added to the Finished pane or Download path.
4. set the stop at time if you do not like watch the full video, just let the record go.
Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us! We'll be more than happy to help.
Have a nice day! Best Regards Scott
