latest PSP CFW .. which one exactly ?

well ppl been tellin me to upgrade my CFW, cauze i had 5.00 M33-4 and most of the new games dosent work on that o.O
so i gave it to my technical friend xD he upgraded it for me, now its 5.50 GEN-B (FULL)
whatever that is o.O
so when i wander around for new games, i hit topics like, CFW GEN A or B
Gen-B2 or GEN BV2 ? btw r those the same ? B2 and B V2 x) ??
anyways
just wanna know the old —-> new which one is 1st and which one is the latest
and where the CFW i own in this arrangement
remember mine is 5.50 GEN-B (FULL)

lol dude.. ur on the latest custom firmware… dont sweat it… go to “www.pspgen.com”, u will get all info, tuto, custom , officials… in short everyhting u need to no abt ur psp…

Old thread…now latest version is 5.50GEND-3 or 5.03GEN-C both play all latest games.
