How to play .MKV on dvd player.

I was wondering how I can get the 300mb rip of a movie in .MKV to play on my dvd player.

They won’t play on a stand alone DVD player…even those that are DivX/Mpeg4 compatible ..
Convert and burn the file to a DVD using ConvertXtoDVD..
