they usually use programs that can compress files whit an high ratio..
no thats not how the Highly Compressed stuff works, they have a program they use idk whats its called

u can use winrar too, just set the rar size to what you want, it’ll take like a day to compress, but it’ll be as small as you choose. i downloaded microsoft office 2007 from a 5 mb file lol took a long ass time extracting, i just let it do it while i slept.
KGB Archiver, but the consequences is you’ll be extract it for a long long time until it finish, and don’t forget your chances to have a corrupt file.

and i didnt know that it was called KGB so i tried 7-z, and i am goign to comapre the results of that with KGB, the reason i need this is so i can back up some of my 7.5 gig movies, i ran out of room on my external HD so i am going to UBER compress my movies and create a partoiion for them. I dont care about extraction time, b/c i have a quad core comp with 4 gig ram but i do care about compressing time. Right now 7-z says 8hrs to compress, about 2 mins ago it said 17hrs so wtf.
if u want to backup movies this isnt the right way mate….these softwares could take hours or even days to uncompress a movie…

I think you are looking for KGB Archiver. Yes, KGB does suck, these files take hours upon hours to extract and they turn out corrupted at times.

You know guys, everybody is talking and talking but no 1 givven definite answer. I don’t know nothing about compressing 10GB into 10MB, but I need it too much. If somebody knows how it works, please put it here step by step as a tutorial how to compress big files into small.
