Why, in the name of all things unholy, do you have multiple FAT32 20GB partitions?
There is no fix, and it doesn’t matter. The letter is just a reference, regardless where the partition is physically stored on the HDD. Don’t stress over it.

then what should I do ? some years ago, the partition of my pc destroyed and I had to partition by myself and I divided it into 20 GB drives. and why I shouldnt have FAT32 ? it causes problem ?
Answer #3
FAT32 is antiquated, convert all partitions to NTFS.
You’d be better off having one Partition for your OS and one partition for your data ….. use folders instead of loads of different tiny partitions. If you have it this way, when your OS goes down all the stuff on the data partition will be safe if you have to reinstal the OS.
For a hard disk of that size 3 partitions max should be adequate.

FAT32 is antiquated, convert all partitions to NTFS. Very Happy
will i lose data if i convert NTFS ? and how much size should i allocate to OS drive ? i use XP and can not use win7 or 8 coz my RAM is only 1 GB.
Answer #5
No you don’t lose nothing if you convert to ntfs..Google fat32 to ntsfs..
But that doesn’t mean nothing can go wrong..
24 GB is not enough not even for XP…
I suggest you delete that J partition and add it to the C partition by resizing it..

Win7 32bit will run fine on 1GB of RAM. The best thing to do is backup all your data on a portable HDD, delete all partitions then install a fresh Win7. Allocate 40gb for system and the rest for data. 24GB is fine for XP, but that’s not the point. Win7 basic install only needs 16GB.
Answer #7
I agree..You actually need less than 20 GB if you are going to just install XP and never use it again..
Answer #8
Win7 32bit will run fine on 1GB of RAM.
the problem is currently i have 200 MB free RAM coz firefox uses 300 MB and kasper 200 MB and with other tiny stuff, only 200 MB is left.

That’s what paging files are for. It’s not an ideal system but it works.
How old is this PC? Can’t you replace it with something better for almost free?
