how do you fix sound problems on movie downloads?

Hi, I always rip movies I rent 4 my collection and they come out great, I have down loaded 5 movies from here so far and the sound is always behind the movie, is their a way to fix these down loads? I did get 1 the sound was good on but the pic quality was poor. So I’m thinking its not me. I just need to know what program I need to break the file up and re sink the sound, maybe a quick set of directions. I use Any DVD and always keep it updated, I use DVD shrink, and Nero to burn this has worked well 4 me in ripping movies, and thats the only movie background I have.

try virtualdub, that has direct stream copy mode for video and can convert the audio
what player do you use
you may have a codec problem if it’s multiple moves
some AC3 and MP3 VBR streams can play audio out of sync get GSpot Codec Information Appliance

open your file in it and it will give you the codec info
then just d/l/update the codecs as you need them
FFdshow is a gr8 play most codecs codec
use that for all almost my audio

Thanks I’ll give that a try. I use Nero 7 to play and burn with. I did just get Nero 8.1.1.4, so I’ll try that out soon, I’ll go get virtualdub and check that out, I’ll also update my codecs just to be safe, thanks again, big help man.
