No sound on various downloads

any ideas y there would be no sound on various shows i watch, the series and shows aren’t the same and neither r the hosts or uploaders, but every now and again i get something with no sound, is it on my end or is it just human error on the uploaders side and something i hav to live with?

Possibly a codec issue, try downloading and installing CCCP from

Another option,Instead of installing a codec pack,Is to switch to a different player,Potplayer comes with it’s own
integrated codecs and is much better than windows media player.
