Exactly, Windows will do this for you by default.
Answer #4
well everyone has administrator access on my network……. will windows do it for me or any 3rd party software
Answer #5
How ? Its a workgroup ?
Go to the share properties remove everyone except the account on your computer.
Don’t waste your time on third party software the place you need to be is the shares manager.
Answer #6
I’d say you could just remove the admin group from the ntfs permissions but they’d readd themselves.
Create custom security groups and have a single admin. Add them to the group and apply group policy and permissions so they can do what they need without being able to access your files. alternatively, EFS them and import/export certs to your computer.
