How do I bypass an Ipban with a Router & Dynamic IP Addr

December 15th, 2013

Prompt answers please, I’m on sky router with a dynamic IP address. some doosh has IPbanned my ass. I’ve tried Google which only refers me to CMD > Ipconfig/release > Network Places > LAN Properties > Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) etc etc. It does not work..
So is their any other way, Ps proxies and port proxies work but only enables me to view the site I need full access rights & to be able to sign up or atleast sign-in and download files.
Thanks
Extra information: website times out when pinging via CMD 100% loss plus the admin assumed I had a static IP, so doubt he bothered to use wild card when banning my IP address.. So I should be able to change dynamically ? I have a laptop and VMWare 8 if that’ll help

If you have DSL, you MIGHT be able to reset your router to get a new IP. Here in the US, most ISP’s give leases on IP’s which prevents you from getting a new IP until the lease for your modem’s MAC has expired. If you leave your modem unplugged for 24+ hours (if your IP uses a 24 hour lease cycle) you will get a new IP.
Best way is to just use a VPN. This VPN is currently free, so go to town…

my guess would be for you to use VPN. Try do some research on that.
basicly, what a VPN (Virtual private network) does, it encrypts your connection from your computer to another network, which uncrypts it, and visit the site you want to visit, then encrypts the info back to you, before you uncrypt it to view it.
It is a very good and stable way to bypass most things.

Remember to delete your cookies, they could be using that method to detect you even if you use a VPN

I also am on Dynamic IP. When I want a new IP I simply turn my router off and then back on again :p

Well, thanks for sharing, but this does not work when ISP’s use IP leases. Plus I already mentioned this. Redundancy is bliss, lol.

They send you your username and password by email. Did you read the instructions that came with the configuration files?

Yeah sorry, Was a bit excited and hesitant to get things rolling. Everythings working fine. Can’t thank you enough this is a question I’ve raised many times over the months across different forums and no one advised me off using a VPN or how easy and fast it would be. < Alot faster than the port proxys & webproxys I’ve been using with the added benefits off being able to register and download files. One last small question. When I’m using this VPN is it exclusive to my Internet connection or will other network devices in my house such as laptop be unable to connect to regular Internet ?
Oh and would you advise switching back to my regular connection when surfing normal or any high risk sites like signing into ebay or paypal etc not that I do much but I only needed this VPN for the odd website forums where I’ve been IPBaned. Nothing serious just expressing my views maybe not so in the politest off manners but my passwords tend not to vary much just the user ID.
Thanks for your help

It is exclusive to the pc you are running it from.
For sites such as e-banking, Paypal, E-bay etc, it is best to use your own regular connection, for the simple reason that it is faster to resolve any disputes as your IP address can be seen.
However, it is a more secure way of browsing.
You need to bite your tongue if you don’t want to get booted from places
I’ve been an Admin/mod on many boards over the years and even when people rejoin, they tend to stick out a mile by their attitude and posting mannerisms

they tend to stick out a mile by their attitude and posting mannerisms
Haha thats me right there though to be fair it is a small community so everyone tends to know each other or gets suspicious when a new member suddenly appears on the board like he’s been their for a long time. I don’t make much attempt to be discreet. I let them know straight up.. I’m their and I’m not going anywhere haha jokes.
I’m really surprised how smooth and fast using a free VPN is no draw backs, lag, advertisements etc etc wouldn’t wanna wake up tomorrow to see all my accounts had been hacked or suspended lol or that someones been collecting all my personal information I always assumed thats why port proxys had restricted access such as account registrations to protect peoples personal information being exploited

That VPN service is only free at the moment whilst it is in beta stage (ie. building up a large client base and ironing out bugs). They guys who run it (and Real-Debrid) are French students, from their posts on their Facebook pages, they haven’t said when they will start charging, but it will most likely be about 4 Euros per month.
EDIT – I love following their Facebook pages, they are so rude and offensive to their customers at times

Kl, not sure id be willing to pay £40/Year for it. especially if theirs an alternative free vpn out there. So RealVPN is a server and OpenVPN is the client ? Is their any as good as realvpn just encase they start charging soon.. I prefer to continue using a vpn to protect my location and privacy but for free of course

VPN’s are not free. Enjoy the free VPN while it last.
If you like the Real-VPN service, just purchase it when they go live. I doubt it will cost very much at all per month.

If you want speed for browsing, and the bandwidth to be able to download, then paying is the only real option.
There are other free vpn services like Cyberghost, but I think you get 1 GB of bandwidth and then that’s it.
I have used this VPN service for many years, and although it may seem expensive, it’s very reliable.

You could always get a VPS, but obviously you have to pay.
If it’s just for browsing, (and getting around your bans) why not just use TOR, the browser bundle is OK

I guess but tbh I only need it for accessing sites that I’ve previously been banned from beyond that to pay for privacy kinda falls down my priority list & cuts it deep I don’t like subscriptions where you have to pay again and again. I know It sounds cheap but we are on a warez forum

Thanks for all your advice guys, I just ask in advanced since I’ve learnt good things never last for long & before I adapt/adjust and get comfortable using real-VPN it’s nice to know I can switch out to a free VPN with limitations for that odd occasion when I want to re-access banned sites.
I’ll check out Tor but I’m not sure if it’ll allow for site registrations and downloads.
Side note: I came accross one site (A 2Pac forum) that would not allow me to sign up behind a proxy (realvpn) is that common for admins to restrict access or is their other alternatives I could bypass that. Luckily I wasn’t banned so I switched out to my original IP & signed up.
