First of all – you should be posting in the Helpdesk forum if you want help.
Secondly, what didn’t work? I’m guessing a PC game, but what game exactly?
But thirdly – I can pretty much tell from the error you’re getting that it’s DirectX related, and I’ve had errors like that before, and what you need to do is either a) update your DirectX (the game you just installed should have it included either on the disk/ISO or installed with the game, find the file called DXSETUP.exe and run it), or b) just Google for the file you need, download it and put it in the folder where the game is installed.
I always get these problems when i download a fresh game, the easiest way to fix is to search “d3dx9_41.dll” on google, and the first thing that comes up should be a site called www.dll-files.com, now head to the bottom of that page and press download ZIP-file (requires WinRAR) and then drag the .dll file in to your C:/Windows/System32 Folder
just reinstall Direct X

Thats just pointless. Just installing/reinstalling DirectX end-user libraries will give you all of them so you don’t have to individually download them.
You really should put the best topics in a book.
Too funny sometimes.
If you want help, then try to be a bit more informative about what you want help with .. and also post help topics in the help section.
Anyway, the replies above should assist.
