Help windows 8 installation

i have windows 8 evaluation copy in my computer n no other copy of windows and now im trying to install windows 8 pro (original copy.)but when the installation is done nad system is being prepared it gives an error something about read only memory. and system restarts. currently im tryin to install window on d drive. plss help

can you be more detail please mentions specs of your computer

is this the d drive that came on the computer, or is it one you partitioned yourself? if you set it yourself, you may have set it to read-only.
also if it’s the d drive that came with it, it’s usually a backup for files needed for factory reset, and i think that is set to read only.

My d drive came with system. ..its 500 gb
