help don’t have directx 10 but dxdiag show 11.

Hi this game called assetto corsa said ” your graphics card is not compatible with this software, minimum requirement is a directx 10.1 graphics card ” how can I fix that? dxdiag is showing me that I have Direct X 11 so how is dx 10.1 missing. My graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 9600 Gso verto 768MB GDDR3.

you tried to reinstall? Yup just tried to install via steam and still same message. Guess its time to upgrade my old graphics card :/. you'll need a new gpu to play that game. Yeah looks like it. There is a way to bypass the dx10.1 but the trees will look blocky and I sure don’t want that. The games I have played have run fine. Left for Dead 2, tomb raider, GTA IV, lFEAR 1,2,3,l ldirt 2,3,showdownl. COD black ops 2. Only game that gives me trouble is this game that I am trying to run which is Assetto Corsa. Looks like I will have to upgrade my gpu just for 1 game :/ and did you look at the link to see if its good.

For about $20 more you can buy a HD7770….Quite a nice card..
Yer old card does DX10 but not DX10.1
