Having trouble connecting to OTHER wireless network

I seem to be having an issue connecting to other wireless networks with my Lenovo x1. It has no trouble connecting this one wireless network at work. When I try to connect to others, it says “Acquiring Network Address”, fails and automatically retries. This happens for BOTH secured and unsecured networks.
I also tried to reinstall the network drivers and still no luck.

It may be faulty, go and check you laptop to local service office
