Forcing a custom screen resolution

January 27th, 2020

I have bought a new monitor and the native screen resolution is 1366×768, but the problem is that my computer dosen’t have that option…
How can I force the screen resolution to be 1366×768 or 1360×768 i think that it was…
I have a crappy old integrated graphics card which is the S3 ProSavage DDR but I believe that it should still show that resolution…

you can’t force a resolution that your graphics card doesn’t support
update your drivers and if you’re lucky you’ll get the option

I was just bumping my topic because if I didn’t it would have just been ignored… and that’s allowed which is stated in the rules… and I’m not a stupid person who just comes to the help desk without using google… I’ve been looking on there for 3 days straight…

My computer had the higher resolutions, but I reinstalled windows XP and since then I’ve had only basic resolutions…

you need to install the latest driver for your video card

When you re-installed XP you most likely never updated your drivers.
Do that.
