delete search history

I asked how to delete search history

^^ You need to open the search bar at the bottom of the page where you type in what you are looking for. You can start with whatever the name starts with that you want to delete. When the window drops down with all your searches in it scroll down with the down arrow and just hit your delete button on you keyboard. GONE!! I hope it works for you Mate!! hmm may i ask if what search history are you referring to?
is it from the web browsers? or from an OS search engine?
reading the reply means that it is an OS search engine.. by the way.. what OS are you running now?
if you say Windows 7 that reply above is still working for me..

using windows 7
referring to search history of themself as mentioned delete used to remove but doesn’t do that anymore

That’s strange It works here I am using win7 myself. It deletes search in only. It use to work for you but now it doesn’t. I’m not sure what the problem could be then sorry!!

oh i see, the search engine of this website you mean
so i just tried it here.. and same.. using DELETE KEY won’t remove the words on the search bar
hmmm weird.. it used to removed the searched word before.. maybe the only way to clear it again is by deleting the cookies saved and clear the history.. i guess

chrome is you delete still removing previous search
