CS:S Problem

Whenever I launch Counter Strike: Source its says: “Preparing to Launch Counter Strike: Source…” And then CS:S pops up for about a second and then in closes.
Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it. Thanks.

mmmm sauce…. i get that problem in CZ and CS 1.6 alot if i mod a skin but leave one out. Did you mod anything recently? With my CZ i just re-installed it to fix the problem

Lol once i had this problem too. So what you could try is to:

1.) Navigate to C:\Windows\System32
2.) Search for “Steam.dll” and delete every “Steam.dll” which is located twice. 3.)The Steam.dll should only be in this folder “C:\Program Files\Steam” delet all other dll’s which are located in other directories
