Corrupt rar files…mac

I am getting some (too many to just be some bad downloads) corrupt rar files, mainly when downloading large images/movies. I am on an iMac, what I have found to repair them is all pc based and my pc took a dump a while back! Are there any tips or programs to repair rar files that are for Mac OSX?
I am using firefox with the downloadthemall plugin/linkification

While extracting your files, make sure you check “keep broken files”.
