Considering getting a jtag xbox 360

July 28th, 2013

if I get a modded xbox 360, how hard is it to keep updating the mod? And as far as burning games, does any dual layer dvd burner work? Also, isn’t there sort of like a protection that in order to play new games, you have to have the latest dashboard?

Keeping a JTAG’d 360 up to date is rather simple… It’s not as hard as it looks.
I have a jtag’d 360, and I needed to update the dash to the latest version to play – Forza 4 I think… So I literally watched a video on Youtube, and I got told how to do it, step by step by a KID!! lol
Burning Games isn’t required on a JTAG – you will use a Hard Drive to store the games!! No more discs, no more coasters
Protection, yes… there is… but it is quickly resolved with just updating to the new dash, which like I said above, fairly simple.
Once you’ve done it once or twice, you can do it with your eyes closed.
I highly recommend a Jtag’d 360. Not only can you play full games like COD / GOW … you can also download the DLC’s for free, and also Arcade games.
Another benefit is that you can play “homebrew” such as emulators, so you can store all your Super Nintendo / Mega Drive (Genesis) games on the hard drive.
Just one thing I need to say about these type of consoles……. KEEP IT WELL VENTILATED AND COOL !!!!!!!!!!

the problem is that most xboxes now have updated dashboards making jtagging impossible. What about flashing just the dvd drive? does that work with any xbox?
