Connect NAS server to seedbox

December 10th, 2013

Hello everyone
Im the lucky guy of a NAS server ( netgear readynas duo )
My question is:
I have a seedbox for downloading All my torrents when the seed box is done i download the files to my own computer with ftp. When i do it in that way my pc were on all Night long.
I have heard the NAS server could make exatcly the same with ftp, so my question is, how Can i connect my seedbox to my nas , and download the files trough the NAS instead of the computer with ftp.
Thanks

I don’t think that is possible if so there would be a bunch of networking involved but you can just keep doing what you are doing

try search replica

I had a look at your NAS’s manual,It does not have an integrated download manager,However it can run backup jobs (FTP supported)
and backup an entire FTP folder or a particular file,But it can only do this periodically (every 4 hours minimum),Get the manual
and refer to Configuring backup jobs>>Adding a new backup job

I know i Can Make This with my NAS i only need to know how. I have heard from Many its possible , but without a guide to set it up.
Im thankfull for the person who have a solution for me
Answer #5
I already gave you a solution,Synching the FTP to your NAS every 4 hours via a backup job is your only option!
Some NAS’s have an integrated download manager,Yours does NOT so you can’t just download at will.

But Will the backup function download All the objects from my seedbox or can i choose witch ones
