Conficker worm aka Downadup infected help needed urgent!

Hi.. My PC was infected with Conficker worm aka Downadup and I used Windows malicious software remover tool (stupid ~love~) which was only able to remove the dangerous worm partially. My computer is protected by G-Data Antivirus (trial version 30 days ) I thought it was good about to buy but even it is not good enough to prevent the re-infection of the Malware. It is giving me serious trouble as it blocks all antivirus and Microsoft websites every now and then . G-date detected the virus and quarantined it but somehow I am getting re-infected. My PC was formatted recently .It looks like there is no other option but to format it once again. This worm uses advance malicious techniques and who knows it might have been infected all over my PC. I still cant figure how this worm entered my computer. I also applied Microsoft Security Patch (update ) and even it didn’t work.
I used Symantec ,Microsoft malicious software removal tool,Malware Antimalwarebytes but none able to prevent re-infection. Is there any other option??
All antivirus Softwares are just waste of space. This scoundrels are the ones who make viruses and release antivirus software so they can get money.
I don’t think even Combofix can help prevent re-infection.

I would appreciate your effort.
The easiest thing would be to reinstall XP and format your harddrive. If you dont know haw to format your hdd, dont worry you can do it while installing XP, its one of the first install options you have. If you have data to save you need to do that first.
Thats what I would do and my suggestion to get your computer working again.
There is also the option of trying to clean the infection from your computer, but its very tedious and time consuming, and in the end you may or may not be successful. I dont recommend it.
If you need help reinstalling XP there are plenty people here to help you do that.

Just to add to the fracas; when the machine is running @ full-speed again, install SP3 and all updates afterward. What is the hold-up? The updates are there for a reason….
Not that updates will thwart the worm.

Have you tried running he anti virus/malware programmes in safe mode
also i didnt see spybot in your list
give that a go too
Just read about the worm and it seems re installing xp is your best solution if you have a disc

when you backup your data and format your computer, after the process, remember to rescan all data with a good anti-virus and then putting it back again otherwise the infection would remain and again infect your system.
