My laptop is infected by the W32/Blaster.worm Need help

My laptop is infected by the W32/Blaster.worm how can I get rid of it? It won’t let me on Internet explorer or anything. I’m typing this out from the iPad though. But need help thanks guys. I got windows vista by the way.

Disable system restore
Download and run this
http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/global/removal_tool/threat_writeups/FixBlast.exe
Reboot, and run again to check you are clean.
If you’re clean, then restart system restore. Do NOT attempt to restore to any previous restore points.

I would suggest you to download COMBOFIX and to go in SAFE MODE, run COMBOFIX and do a scan…
After that perform full scan with Malwarebytes (from SAFE MODE too)…
You should be ok!

How did you even get infected with Blaster in the first place? It’s been patched by Microsoft years ago. If you have MRT already installed (due to a Windows Update or something) type in MRT into run and it’ll take care of it.
