URGENT HELP NEEDED!

I need to do a system restore because i uninstalled Firefox 3 Beta 2 and it took all my bookmarks and settings out of firefox 2, but every time i try, it says my account has insufficient privileges (yes, it’s a the administrator). I tried singing in as the Admin in safe mode, but i get the same thing. When it finishes and restarts, it logs into my account and gives me that message.
Now, whenever i try to kill a process with Task Manager, it tells me access is denied!
EDIT: I was able to restore and get the Task Manager working, but still no bookmarks or addons

Google…lost bookmarks in firefox…

I’ve lost mine before, but found them OK in the end

Yeah, Firefox keeps backups fortunately; and you need to calm down. Losing bookmarks is hardly a feasible urgency.

yea, but they were all gone. luckily i still had most of my stuff on Opera, so i was able to transfer them over and i figured out what all i was missing.
