clarify rules

i am planning to share Silent Hill 2 game files without any free hosting links as it was not mine. however i do like to share links to external parties that provided the links for the game. is that can be done without violating the rules? ive read it but still not clear about the rules.

As per board rule #4.2 #4.2 If you choose to post a link it should benefit everyone and must not be a site of the following categories:
Web hosting. Referrals. Affiliation. sites. Sites that require registration, subscription or a fee to access. Links within posts that links to non-allowed 3rd party in order to gain access to the content (eg Link protectors, Text files, Altered links, Links directory, Torrents or any Torrent related activity...). To clarify, we only allow either direct links to content or use of allowed 3rd party services listed below: Safelinking.net

so if i want to share it i must acquire those files and upload it on cloud storage and provide links for it?

Normally you could just post the links from other site. But after seeing what happened to your other topic, it seems their links wouldn’t be allowed here in form they were.
So since I never looked at what hosts they were using, I can’t know whether you can post them. Links from that site were using ads to get them, which is against rules here.
If you can post links from there without ads, and as long as they are allowable hosts here I don’t see why you can’t post them.
If you don’t know how to post the links by removing ads, or links are to hosts not allowed here, then yes you’ll need to add your own links.
