Can’T copy or move a file from Internal hard drive

Hello my friends ,
today , when I try to copy or move a 500MB file from internal hard drive , it gives me this error : “Data error cyclic redundancy”
What can I do to solve this problem in the future ??
What causes this ? Can I do sth to have no problem in the future ?
any suggestion ??

Try running chkdsk /r on the drive
eg start > run > chkdsk (volume letter): /r
If it’s your OS drive, then Windows needs to dismount the volume and it will run when you reboot, depending on the size of the drive it will take some time.

get “Hard Disk Sentinel” and check the drives health
a cyclic redundancy error can indicated bad blocks on the disk
