Bioshock Crash when is loading

I DL Bioshock, cracked it and the game crashed on the second game load… after you fall on the plain, you get on the lift .. and when the lift is getting up.. it comes the load.. after that it crashs my game.. some times i got to Rstart my computer.. =|
i patched the game, and now it crashs on the first load.. before the plain crash.. =(
i got a pentium D 3.2 1GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce 7600 Gs 256 DDR3
Some help would be nice

same problem mate but i have tryed a version from usenet it seems to work different, it only crash when picking up dollars or saving :S

You need the update to v1.1 for it and the Detonation v1.1 NO-DVD fix, the first crack for it had many problems which caused crashes when picking up cash and saving between levels etc.

It took me ages to get my pre-patched version of BioShock running without crashing all the time. I eventually found some info in a forum that mentioned changing the audio settings. I tried them all, but the one that worked for me was ‘Dolby Pro Logic’ with ‘EAX’ turned off.
With the version 1.1 update I still had to do the same thing.
