Android phones resources?

But I’m a total n00b with an android phone lol… Can anyone please forward me to the best place I can find out about making best use of android, which apps are a must have, how to *cough* jailbreak/hack *cough* the phone in order to make it even more awesome and get apps otherwise not available… :banned:
Anyone know any good sites/forums etc etc that would help me out?

Sounds like a brilliant idea to add in apps that are “hacked” to your brand new, expensive phone . Lol, be careful where you go. Android Central is a good resource, so is http://www.androinica.com Rooting your phone is always a good idea, superuser is a must

Btw, it says roooting voids warranty, but if we just unroot it before taking it in for repair will it still be an issue?
yes i agree rooting is the way to go, phandroid is another good site..they a forum for each phone.

was the problem with your phone caused by rooting or a rooted phone? encouraging fraudulent acts is kind of taboo in any public place so thats all im going to say lol

Sorry for another quick post but help me out please, can rooted phones upgrade firmware normally in the legit manner that they’re supposed to be or do we just use custom ROMs with the latest firmwares??
If your touchscreen etc… gets faulty remember that you are probably unlikely to be able to unroot your phone, for warranty purposes.
