2 is better…
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t just gonna be too much and unnecessary.

Well it’s better to have 2 RAM memory sticks because if one dies you have another one , but what if you have only 1 and it dies.. oh well
Cheers mate!
Spend the money on getting a 2500K instead. You’re wasting the Z68 chipset getting the 2400.
Oh and here’s a far better PSU for the money.

He’s talking about two sets not sticks. You have warranty anyway._Hippie replied: Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just gonna be too much and unnecessary.

Sorry for my ignorance but isn’t that the same?! 2x4GB = 2 sticks 4GB each?!

The OP wants to know if he should buy 1x 2x4GB (8GB total) or 2x 2x4GB (16GB total).

That makes the sense… Thanx prozac (so it was 2 sticks anyway or 4)
Yes , 8GB is quite enough ram, but if you can stretch your budget to the 2500K CPU, then so much the better!
And -paroxysM^ has suggested you a good power supply.
