A simple RAM question

Should I get two sets of G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) or just one?

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t just gonna be too much and unnecessary.

Well it’s better to have 2 RAM memory sticks because if one dies you have another one , but what if you have only 1 and it dies.. oh well

Spend the money on getting a 2500K instead. You’re wasting the Z68 chipset getting the 2400.
Oh and here’s a far better PSU for the money.

Yes , 8GB is quite enough ram, but if you can stretch your budget to the 2500K CPU, then so much the better!
And -paroxysM^ has suggested you a good power supply.
