Fraps 3.4.6 not recording

I downloaded Fraps to record games but I’m unable to get it. How do I record games ?? I read tutorials, they say press the hotkey to start and stop recording. Well I did the same. I press it, FPS counter turns red when I press it again it turns green..but when I go to see my video..it’s in some csv format. Pls help

If your not doing any post editing. Just use XSplit.

You could you dxtory, apparently you can record without any fps impact.
Haven’t tried it out though.

That only works for DX and OpenGL applications.

That is 100% inaccurate.
It’s based on available system resources.
