how do we check our opponent’s ip in msn

Just ask him of is ISP and then goto to cmd and type “netstat” then it will show you many connections, and one of them is hostname(the isp will appear on the host name) copy his host name and convert the host name to ip in this site http://www.hcidata.info/host2ip.htm

What I think hes trying to get at is possibly the other person doesn’t to just come right out with it and he wants to take it by force. Theres another way to do it through saving chatlogs and stuff but ive forgotten about that.

If you can’t just ask him, send him a largish file (so you have more time) open command prompt and type “netstat”. This tells you all IPs on your network and when the file has finished, one IP will disappear – then you have your answer Good luck mate

open CMD and do “netstat -n” to show a list of ip’s, then send him a file and in the process do another netstat -n, compare both lists and you’l get the right IP.
