Does anyone know how to check gta iv error?

May 10th, 2020

So gta iv keeps crashing on me and I know its a mod making my game crash but I don’t which one as I have other mods installed. I have car mods, els v7, LCPDFR, car indictor script, trainer, and taxi bug fix. If you need spec of my laptop here it is:
Windows 8
AMD a10-4600m 2.30Ghz with radeon 7660g graphics. 6GB DDR3 ram
1TB HDD

The logical way would be to disable them all, re-enable them one by one and see if you can re-create the crash.
You could also check Event Viewer to see if it’s writing to the Windows syslog when it crashes, it may give a clue to which files/mods are causing it. Start > Run > eventvwr.msc > Windows logs > Applications. Look for errors around the time it crashes.

I have no idea what to do with windows log, I just wanted to see what mod was causing my crash. Here is windows log

As you can see when the application is crashing it;s writing to the log, sometimes it’ll point to a file instead of the executable (like it has in this case) that can help you diagnose problems like this.
Unfortunately since it’s pointing to the main game .exe I’d try uninstalling all mods, and adding them one by one. Are you able to recreate the crash at will or is it intermittent?
Failing that, are these big mogs like ICEhancer or just little car mods? They may have their own debug logs/mods to say which is crashing. Check the directories you installed them in to and see if there are any text files with the .log extension
